Spectral analysis of cyclists' heart rate in the age aspect by indicators of heart rate variability

Бесплатный доступ

The article presents the results of a study of gender and age characteristics of the regulatory-adaptive status of cyclists in terms of heart rate variability. 82 male and female athletes of two age periods (adolescent and youth) were examined. The difference in the distribution of time and spectral parameters of HRV and the total power of the spectrum is established. The increase in the contribution of the HF-constant to the overall HRV spectrum at rest in both boys and girls was noted. A group with impaired functioning of the cardiovascular system and the autonomic nervous system was identified.
