Disputed issues of enforcement of article 291.2 of the Criminal Code

The article analyzes the specifics of the application in practice of article 291.2 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation (further - the criminal code of Russian Federation) from the point of view of competition of its norms in relation to articles 290 and 291 of the Criminal code of Russian Federation and its effectiveness in General. A brief analysis of the law enforcement practice of the analyzed article revealed the problematic aspects of its application, leading to errors of law enforcement. The author comes to the conclusion that article 291.2 of the Criminal code does not fully meet the goals of combating corruption crimes in the Russian Federation.
