Sports routine in the USSR as a historiographical issue

The article analyzes the history of sport as a historiographical problem. It is emphasized that the so-called sociology of sport covers a wide range of scholar literature, including works on philosophy, cultural studies, pedagogy. Today there is no historical works on the history of Soviet sport. The sports routine in the USSR in the 1940-60-s is not studied at all. This fact determines the relevance of such a research.
