The method of diagnosing the steering of cars

The methods of diagnosing the steering of cars are analyzed, a method based on the accounting of the steering structure is proposed. In the quality of the model, rack-and-pinion steering was used, consisting of three structures - parallel and two sequential. A system of three algebraic equations connecting gaps in three conjugation groups and backlash in parallel and two sequential steering structures is obtained. An experimental test on cars showed the effectiveness of the proposed method at low cost of implementation.
