Method for assessment of prostate cancer treatment efficacy

The integral parameter of treatment efficacy (treatment efficacy coefficient) has been proposed. To calculate this coefficient, such parameters as the prostate specific antigen level, prostate size, amount of residual urine and urination disorder assessment scale (IPSS) for a certain time are used. The assessment of various methods for treatment of prostate cancer has been done with respect to the extent of tumor involvement in 468 patients.
