Method of passive flow control of shock wave/boundary layer interaction at transonic speeds

Experimental studies of a buffeting onset phenomenon by a supercritical airfoil model at transonic speeds are presented. The new method of this phenomenon control is given. It is shown that the application of special jet vortex generators leads to delaying onset and a decreasing buffeting phenomenon.
