Cost minimization methods for primary transportation of timber

The article is concerned with transport cost minimization in the process of forest development by a forest logging enterprise. Economic efficiency of temporary logging roads’ construction, extension of the spur roads within the bounds of the cutting area, and long-distance transport by skidders are assessed based on the obtained research results, which in tern allowed us to make conclusions and introduce recommendation.
