Ways of assessing the level of universal human values formation in future pedagogues

Introduction. The article analyzes and formulates the problems of the formation of universal values in future teachers in the process of studying pedagogical disciplines at college. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of formation of universal human values through experimental questionnaire survey of future college teachers at the pedagogical faculty in the educational process upon completion of specially designed educational and independent work done by students. The research methodology consists of elements of quantitative and qualitative methods: questionnaire, observation, experiment and analysis, respectively. The theoretical component is based on the works of foreign and domestic scientists in the field of pedagogy. The results of the study. As a result, it was noted that the future teachers of the pedagogical college not only had significant changes in the concepts of universal human values, but also formed a humanistic orientation within the framework of personality-oriented education, and educational and professional activities. Conclusion. The developed experimental work allowed to effectively facilitate the formation of the universal values in future teachers. This approach is also particularly relevant for students in a modern era of globalization. The obtained results of this experiment can serve as a basis for more advanced competency-based training of future personnel in the field of education.
