Methods for forgery of payments

The article analyzes the emerging law enforcement practice in criminal cases for crimes under Art. 187 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which manifests itself in the criminalization of the actions of heads of organizations that include inaccurate information in the means of payment when making payments; examines critical views of this practice from researchers; substantiates the need for a broad understanding of counterfeiting of means of payment, which includes actions that result in a fictitious document reflecting inaccurate information about legally significant facts that make up its content.
