The paper analyses proposed approaches for creation of nanostructures as well as the patent information about the ways used to introduce nanoadditives and mechanisms of their influence on building materials: • Creation of diffusion barrier for electromagnetic radiation and increase of building materials durability; • Fotocatalysis on the surface of the concrete modified by titanium nanodioxide; • Softeners modification aimed at control of rheological properties of concrete mixes; • Modification and optimization of structure of the contact zone between artificial stone and filler.
