The article presents a comparative analysis of morphometric indicators of the long-tailed ground squirrel S. undulates in different areas of research. Trapping of animals was carried out in three isolated colonies in the vicinity of the village Kurganskii in the summer of 2017, and in the vicinity of the village of Ust-Cheol in the summer of 2011.
