Comparison of the error of calculation of oil mass in tanks by volume-mass and hydrostatic methods

In this work, the study of metrological characteristics of measurements of gross weight of oil in tanks in two ways - bulk and hydrostatic. To do this, the calculation of errors in the performance of measurements and calculations, both the first and the second method. In conclusion, it is concluded that the measurement of the mass of oil, performed by hydrostatic method, improves not only the safety, productivity and efficiency of tanks, but also the accuracy of measurements.
