Comparison of indicators for assessing the standard of living of the population in Russia and China

The article is devoted to the analysis of the common main characteristics of Russia and China and their impact on the standard of living of the population in these countries. The factors influencing the quality of life in Russia and China are considered and analyzed. The authors conclude that in order to improve the quality of life, first of all, it is necessary to raise its level, since it is the high standard of living of the population that will create the necessary conditions and material basis for a high quality of life. The article also examines the composition of consumer baskets in Russia and China, analyzes the reasons for the increase in prices for goods, conducts a comparative analysis of the level of environmental pollution and identifies the causes that affect this indicator of quality of life.
