China's rail freight development comparison with France and Germany

Railways play a key role in the economic and social development of countries, and rail freight transportation ensures that society's need for raw materials and goods is met. The paper analyzes the policy and strategy for the development of freight rail transport by analyzing a general overview of the transport market in China, France, Germany. The use of mainline railway transport plays a decisive role in the development of the national economy of the People's Republic of China (PRC). Railways are marketoriented, relying on service and management innovation, technological innovation, greatly improving the efficiency of rail transport and service quality, railway market competitiveness. China's railway corporatization reform has shown the acceleration of the reform of the railway system. By studying the experience of reforming railway enterprises abroad, China intends to adhere to the market-oriented reform of railway transport, improving the system of state supervision. Through the analysis of domestic socio-economic development, the overall development of freight traffic, and the general situation of freight rail traffic, the current situation of rail freight traffic in China is ascertained and the positioning of the rail freight traffic market is studied. A comprehensive analysis of economic benefits is considered by the authors in comparing the advantages of industrial planning and the social welfare of rail and road freight transport, in terms of studying the external environment faced by railways in terms of macroeconomic policy, infrastructure construction.
