The state of the atmosphere of the Leninsky district of the city of Ufa was evaluated by the contamination of snow cover by means of biotesting. Toxicity index was chosen as the main parameters for assessing the degree of toxicity of snow water samples. A comparison was made of the state of air pollution in the residential and transport-main zones of the city.
