Comparative characteristics of bulls-sires of different origin by quality of daughters

In the Russian Federation, the issue of providing the country's population with high-quality, competitive dairy raw materials is an acute issue. To solve the problem of increasing milk production is possible only through further intensification of the dairy industry. The purpose of the work is to conduct a comparative analysis of the breeding value of bulls of different origin in the quality of offspring. Studies were conducted on the basis of OJSC "Orlovskoye" for breeding. The object of the study was bulls of manufacturers of different origin and their lactating daughters. The material for the study was tribal accounting cards and primary zootechnical accounting documents. The offspring of bulls was evaluated by comparing the productivity of their daughters with the productivity of their daughters peers of other bulls. Bulls - producers of the line R. Sovereign - Abel and Sultan, lines V. Kaimpe - Gen, lines V.B. Ideal Bars, lines M. Chieftain Levkoy and Darwin with greater live weight also had female ancestors with high productivity, which indicates high hereditary consolidation of these characteristics. In terms of the quality of the offspring, the best bulls were producers: Sultan line R. Sovereign; Chord and Khan - line V.B. Ideal; Darwin and Lyric - line M. Chieftain and Shtrebet - line S.T. Rocket. This gives reason to use the data in breeding and breeding, which will make it possible to predict the future productivity of daughters-descendants.
