Сomparative efficiency of coccidiostatics in calves with eimeriosis in Ivanovo region

The purpose and objectives of the study were to compare antiparasitic efficiency of coccidiostatics of amprolium of 25 % and baycox of 5 % at an eimeriosis in calves. The infectiousness of calves by oocysts of eimeria was diagnosed in one of the farms of Ivanovo Region. Fecal samples selected at clinically sick calves (profuse diarrhea, in excrements slime, vials of gas, blood; the general oppression, refusal of forage were found, fervescence to up 40-41ºС) from a rectum on 10-15 grams from each animal was observed and were located in disposable containers where specified age, sex of an animal and the time of collecting. The material was investigated in the laboratory of Department of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases named after Academician of RAAS Yu.F. Petrov by the method of Fyulleborn. For the assessment of therapeutic effectiveness of drugs two groups of calves 2-3 months of age up to 10 heads in each were picked up for the principle of analogs.
