Comparative evaluation of bulls-sires by exterior and reproductive qualities

Main factor influencing the reproduction of the herd is the selection of sires. As a result of identifying high-value bulls, it is possible to significantly enhance hereditary traits. According to the presented article, the evaluation of sires showed the best performance in the Holstein breed. This was expressed in the study of measurements: chest depth (5.4%), chest width (13.2%), width in maklaks (12%), chest girth (10.5%) and metacarpus (10, 5%), which exceeded the values of the experimental group. At the same time, the largest volume of ejaculate was obtained from Holsteins, which had a positive correlation with the leading measurements.
