Comparative assessment of investment attractiveness of the North-West economic region

The highlight of article is the analysis of investment attractiveness of territorial entities, which is caused by a global trend of integration of regional and national economies, including, need of objective, competent, regular monitoring of investment activity for Russian regions. The conceptual framework in the field of investment attractiveness is considered. A brief description of the North-Western economic region and its subjects was given. The economic-mathematical model considering a social and economic situation of the region, namely, the expanded model including spheres of social and economic development was used for assessment of investment attractiveness of territorial district in the work. On the basis of expanded model of assessment of the regional investment attractiveness including spheres of social and economic development integrated indexes of investment attractiveness of the regions, trends of their change in dynamics (2007-2016) are analyzed. By results of the analysis of integrated indexes and assessment of a condition of spheres, regions were distributed on groups of investment climate, barriers of increase in investment attractiveness at subjects of outsiders were revealed and the vector of development of investment policy for each subject was determined. The actions increasing investment climate were offered in the conclusion.
