The paper examines issues related to ranking and determining the development trajectory of agricultural enterprises, their efficiency, which can help managers and government bodies to make management decisions. The purpose of the study is to rank agricultural enterprises engaged in the production of rapeseed, to determine positive and negative development trajectories for making management decisions to increase profitability and enter export markets. To achieve this goal, it was supposed to use multidimensional analysis to compare agricultural enterprises with each other, to rank them according to the degree of financial stability, solvency, market share, capital productivity, profitability; divide them into groups and determine the trajectory for the coming period. Let us note that the methodology is universal, as it allows the use of both quantitative and qualitative indicators and the inclusion of enterprises from different industries, if necessary. The study used accounting data for agricultural enterprises in the Irkutsk Region, which are engaged in the production of promising high-margin products, - rapeseed. The use of multidimensional analysis made it possible to determine not only the rating of enterprises in the production of agricultural products, but also a positive/negative development trajectory, which made it possible to develop management decisions to maintain market positions in conditions of high competition and the economic crisis associated with sanctions. The results of the study can be used by government agencies when making decisions to support agricultural producers engaged in the production of a particular crop, to stimulate the introduction of innovative business processes in production and to achieve food supply indicators for the region.
