The article presents the results of studying 31 cultivars of Hemerocallis × hybrida hort., created in the period of the 60-90s of the XX century, according to 7 quantitative characteristics: the height of the generative shoot, the diameter and width of the flower, the number of flowers on the peduncle, the distance between the leaf level and the lower flower in the inflorescence, the height of the bush in a non-flowering state and the length of the leaf records. A comparative assessment of the degree of their variability has been carried out. It is shown that the coefficient of variation in most of them (except for the distance between the leaf level and the lower flower in the inflorescence) does not exceed 41%. For each of the biometric parameters, the cultivars were grouped based on the absence of reliable statistical differences between them (within groups) and the presence of such differences between cultivars from different groups. The patterns of changes in morphometric characteristics in H. × hybrida cultivars under the influence of selective selection have been determined. According to the height of the generative shoot, as well as the distance between the lower flower in the inflorescence and the leaves, there is a tendency to a significant decrease in their absolute values. According to the number of flowers on the peduncle and the size of the flower, the tendency to create large-flowered and abundantly flowering cultivars is shown. The absence of trends towards changes in leaf length and bush height (in a non-flowering state) during the considered chronological period has been established.
