Comparative evaluation of fragmental fixation rigidity using external transosseous osteosynthesis methods with wires, half-pins and their combination was made for optimization of fixation techniques in treatment of injuries and diseases of the locomotor system according to G.A. Ilizarov. For this purpose 11 model variants were used which differed in number of supports, types and positions of fixators, forms of bone fragments, for creation of which 4 tibial and 2 femoral bones were used. Each model variant was put in a special device for load determination. As a result high rigidity of fixation was revealed when half-pin and combined configurations of the external fixator was used irrespective of support number in comparison with wire variants of the Ilizarov fixator mounting.
Transosseous osteosynthesis, fixation rigidity, fixation by half-pins, fixation by wires, combined fixation by wires and half-pins
