Anatomical studies of secondary xylem of 6 Rhamnus (Rhamnaceae) species occurring in the Caucasus in various conditions showed that difference in their xylem structure are mainly quantitative. The importance of xylotomycal characters for taxonomy and taxonomy is noted.
