Comparative study of efficiency of new weak grown apple tree interstocks of All Russian Research Institute of Horticultural Breeding Selection in combination with variety Bolotovskoye

Selection work on creating weak grown interstocks is being held in All Russian Research Institute of Horticultural Breeding since 1987. Recordings of spread and productivity of trees of variety Bolotovskoye in intermediate weak grown form are studied for many years. It gives the opportunity to differentiate the best dwarf and semi-dwarf forms of All Russian Research Institute of Horticultural Breeding selection, apple trees on them have higher yield loading. These weak grown interstocks forms of All Russian Research Institute of Horticultural Breeding selection deserve breeding and further large-scale verification.
