Langmuir-Blodgett films of polyimide prepolymer (rigid-chain polyamic acid alkylamine salt) and respective polyimide have been studied by the confocal laser scanning microscopy and atomic force microscopy. The film surface was analyzed at different scales of the surface area, from larger scanning areas to smaller. This allowed monitoring of variations in the surface structure morphology at different measurement scales and to characterize the film surface structural organization passing from micro- to nanolevel.

Рolyamic acid alkylamine salt (paas), polyimide films (polyimide), domain structure, langmuir-blodgett (lb) films, confocal laser scanning microscopy (clsm), atomic force microscopy (afm)
