Comparative analysis of state systems of innovation support in Russia and Finland

The study deals with innovation ecosystem concept and considers the innovation projects of initial level state support system in Finland and Russia as elements of these ecosystems. 4-year experience with Russian innovative projects results are presented in comparison with the results of Finnish innovation infrastructure analysis. On the basis of Finnish experience, the key and the most obvious differences between Finish and Russian systems are highlighted and improvements for Russian support mechanisms for initial level innovative projects are suggested.
