Comparative analyses of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMES) in Russia and other countries

This article includes explains the main parameters of SMEs in countries where the contribution of SMEs to the economy of the country is very significant. Analyzed and compared the number of SMEs in general, their contribution to the economy, the number of employed in SMEs in the total number of employed population, the criteria for the classification of enterprises to SMEs. In conclusion SMEs in Russia is analyzed and given comparative characteristic SMEs with other countries.
