Comparative analysis of material well-being of different age groups of the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous okrug - Ugra

Relevance. Material well-being is related to many processes in human life and society, therefore, its scientific understanding requires interdisciplinary research. This indicator is a sensitive indicator of social arrangement in the region and can be considered as a guideline for prioritizing social policies and social management systems. Objective - comparative analysis of material well-being of different age groups of the population of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra. Object of study - age groups (17-29 and 41-49) of the population of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra. The choice of these age cohorts is due to the fact that one age group is at the beginning of the labor path, and the second, having gained sufficient experience, approaches the pre-retirement age. Materials and methods. The method of data collection is a questionnaire survey. The survey was conducted in 2019, for comparison, two age categories of the population of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra were taken. The first group consisted of working youth from 17 to 29, the second group - the population from 41 to 49 years. Results of work. Analyzed the idea of material well-being and some factors that determine material well-being. It is shown that the choice of one or another point of view is determined to a certain extent by a person’s own age.
