Comparative analysis of methodological approaches of Russian and foreign scientists to the study of public values

The subject of the article is the methodological approaches of domestic and western scientists to the study of social values in the recent period of world history. The methodological basis of the study is the principles of historical, comparative, axiological and institutional analysis. The aim of the work is to identify the distinctive features of the methodological approaches of western and domestic scientists of our time to the study of values. The authors examine not only the variety of approaches, but also the relationship between qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methodology in the works of value researchers.
