Comparative analysis of methods for laying pipelines

Currently, more than ten methods of laying the pipeline are used. This article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of some methods. Transportation through pipelines of raw materials and products is developing every year. The length of the pipeline in Russia is more than 375 thousand km, which is one of the largest values in the world. However, about half of the pipelines require repair or replacement. In most cases work in urban development is hampered by a number of factors, so the way of laying the pipeline must be carefully chosen in accordance with the properties of the grounds, the length of the pipeline, the availability of other communications, buildings and structures, etc.
