Comparative analysis of planar and alloy splitters for Pon - networks

A comparative analysis of the characteristics of planar (PLC (planar lightwave circuits)) and welded (FBT (fused biconical taper)) splitters is carried out. The study shows the principle of operation and production technology of the considered types of splitters, as well as attenuation, transmission rate and other characteristics.
