The article presents results of the comparative research reviewing ideas of students and drug addicts about narcotic drugs and drug addiction. The authors consider the patients’ ideas about the addiction. The study of youth’s opinions about the drug addiction allows forecasting the dynamics of drug addiction diffusion in Russia.
