The introduction of boardless technologies generates such problems as the destructurization of the top layer of soil, which becomes dust-like and saturated with weeds, and the compression of the lower layers by the propellers of wheeled energy-saturated tractors. To solve these problems mouldboard ploughs must be periodically, i.e. once every three or four years, ploughed. The quality of plowing (stability of the stroke as for the depth of processing and the width of the grip) is adversely affected by the lengthening of the ploughs. Their maneuverability worsens and the mass increases. It is necessary to place the body at the optimal intercorpus distance, which depends on the size of the deformation zone. One of the reasons for the refusal of mouldboard tillage consists in its high energy consumption with a relatively low productivity. The solution to this problem can be the modernization of the design of the plough bodies, allowing a change in the shape of the cross section of the cut formation...
