A comparative analysis of various methods of biometrics of dental arches in physiological occlusion is carried out to determine the possibility of individual diagnosis of anomalies. Biometrics of models of dental arches from plaster were carried out on 54 pairs with signs of physiological occlusion. The Pont and Linder Hart methods were compared when estimating the arc width. In people with retrusion, the width in the premolar region was (36,70 ± 0,59) mm and corresponded to the design indicators. The deviation of the Linder-Hart indicator by (0,39 ± 0,12) mm was in people with the mesotrusion type and we did not note a significant difference in indicators between the actual and calculated value (p > 0,5). The actual size of the transversal of the posterial section of the arch in the mesotrusion type of arches on the upper jaw was (47,88 ± 1,35) mm and the difference was only (0,41 ± 0,14) mm (p > 0,5). Thus, the width of the premolar section of the dental arch corresponds to the calculated indicators of Pont in the retrusion, and the calculations for Linder Hart in the mesotrusion variant. The Linder Hart calculated data corresponded to the true dimensions of mesotrusion on the upper jaw and mesotrusion and protrusion on the lower arch.
