Comparative analysis of plotstructure in the novels by E. Hemingway “A farewell to arms” and by F. Scott Fitzgerald “Tender is the night”

The article deals with the analysis of the peculiarities of the plot structure in the novels by the contemporary American authors of the XX century. The analysis has been made on the limited literary material. Two separate novels have been taken as a basis for the analysis - “A Farewell to Arms” by E. Hemingway and “Tender is the Night” by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The author comes to the conclusion that both novels are original but dissimilar in view of their plot structure.
