The article presents a description of seven models of disc harrows: DANA BDP4x2; BDP-4000-08; BDM-4; DIAS PM-8x2; BDM-8x2PS; BDMP-6x4S and BDM-6x4P. The presented models of disc harrows are equipped with spherical cut-out discs and differ mainly in the working width. In the course of the research, a comparative analysis of the technical characteristics of the presented machines was carried out on the basis of test reports published on the official website of the Siberian State Zonal Machine Testing Station. The considered models are conditionally divided into three groups depending on the width of the capture. For comparison, the following parameters were selected: working width, average working depth, working speed, productivity per hour of shift time, specific fuel consumption, laboriousness of preparing the machine for work, laboriousness of shift maintenance (TS) and changes in the content of erosive-dangerous soil particles in layer of 0-5 cm. During the operation of the aggregates, tillage was carried out to a depth of 8.5 to 13.6 cm, while the speed of the aggregates varied from 7.6 to 15.0 km/h. The productivity per hour of the shift time of the considered units was in the range of 2.4 to 8.8 ha/h. The specific fuel consumption in this case ranged from 4.6 to 9.3 kg/ha. The labor intensity of preparing the machine for operation ranged from 0.017 to 0.1 man-hours, while the labor intensity of every shift maintenance was from 0.13 to 0.55 man-hours. When testing these agricultural machines at the Siberian State Zonal Machine Testing Station, it was found that all machines steadily and efficiently perform the technological process, clogging and sticking of the working bodies did not occur, in some cases a decrease in erosion-dangerous soil particles was observed.
