Evaluation methods and probabilistic indices of power systems adequacy assessment for the control of development of power networks

This paper illustrates analysis of mathematical methods, models and application software used to assess adequacy of power systems for future planning of their expansion. Additional attention has been paid to correlations of expected values of reliability indices used in practice in Russian and foreign power system control centers.
