Comparative analysis of syphilis and gonorrhea in the Udmurt Republic and in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2019-2023

This article provides a comparative analysis of the incidence of syphilis in the Udmurt Republic and in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2019-2023. The authors studied the state reports "On the state of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population in the Udmurt Republic" and statistical collections of the Republic of Tatarstan. As a result of the analysis of the literature, it was found that in the Udmurt Republic in the period from 2019 to 2021, the incidence of syphilis decreased by 36.94%, and then from 2021 to 2023 increased by 25.25%. In the Republic of Tatarstan, from 2019 to 2020, a decrease of 30.57% and an increase of 82.14% from 2020 to 2023. At the same time, the incidence of gonorrhea in the Udmurt Republic decreased by 48.85% between 2019 and 2023. In the Republic of Tatarstan, the incidence increased by 47.05% from 2019 to 2021, and then there was a decrease from 2021 to 2023 by 17.33%.
