In article to be set the task to consider means of the publication of data in such networks as the Internet and the Intranet. It is shown that represent the Internet and the Intranet, their opportunities and feature. The idea of creating a universal database were worked over a long period, and only recently a means of creating such a database were obtained. Many consider the Internet, Intranet and the World Wide Web (WorldWideWeb, WWW) as an experimental model of such a database. The technology developed for the WWW, embodies the idea of a global information database, realized within the current capabilities.
