Means of commercial educational institutions in Siberia in XIX-ХХ сеntury

The paper analyzes the means of commercial institutions that existed in Siberia in the late XIXth - early XXth centuries. Their appearance and development was due to the new conditions, needs of a new economic, cultural and social life. These institutions took children of all social classes and were financed from several sources, such as the funds of the treasury, local government, benefits from merchant companies and individual donations. The features of emerging trade schools and commercial schools were not in their curriculums, but in the fact that they were under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Finance, later, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, respectively, were financially better endowed, and were substantially supported by big businessmen.
