Means of expression of historical time from the standpoint of political correctness

Category of time is one of the key categories of History as an academic discipline. Historical time is not homogeneous. It consists of calendar time and social and historical time. Calendar time is expressed by various precision units, social and historical time is manifested by historical terms. The knowledge of chronology is of primary importance for historians, that is why every student of history should know the means of expression of historical time. Now the dating of historical events is being reconsidered and presented from the point of view of modern tendencies of Political Correctness. For a historian the way of fixing the date in historical texts can become its temporal and spatial indicators.
