Stabilographic method for determining proprioceptive sensitivity of a postural system

Бесплатный доступ

Regulation of vertical posture is carried out using sensory information of different modalities: visual, vestibular and proprioceptive. Although the contribution of proprioceptive information to the postural control is dominant, there are almost no works that show the relationship between postural stability and proprioceptive sensitivity. The aim of the work was to study the relationship of the specific proprioceptive ability of the postural system, determined using the new stabilographic method and the stability of the vertical posture. The method evaluating specific proprioceptive sensitivity consists of actively reproducing a given deviation of the center of pressure (CP) by tilting the vertical body forward in the ankle joint. It was found that the error in reproducing the deviation of the CP (ERRcp) independently correlates with the errors in the reproduction of the angles in the ankle (ERRank) and hip (ERRhip) joints (determined using goniometry), but not in the knee joint...
