Selenginsky and Barguzinsky fish-breeding plants formation

The fishing industry plays an important role in the development of the national economy, so its study is one of the most pressing problems for the region's economy. The paper analyzes and summarizes the historical experience of the activities of fish hatcheries, which will help to realistically assess the current situation in the fish industry and determine the ways for its further development. The functioning of the Soviet model of fisheries was provided by a system of state support, which made it possible to successfully develop the fishing industry and solve social problems in coastal regions. The country's leadership always paid great attention to the development of the fishing industry, as the most important branch of food supply for the population. During the years of Soviet power, in a short time, on the basis of the implementation of plans for the industrialization of the country, the material and technical base of the fishing industry was created. The stiudy deals with the problems of reproduction of fish stocks on Lake Baikal from 1917 to 1994. On the basis of archival data, information is given on the number of incubated eggs, and the activities of fish hatcheries are analyzed. Research has analyzed the work of party organizations to increase the reproduction of fish stocks. The organizational and financial measures taken to strengthen the fishing industry contributed to the further development of the industry in subsequent periods. On the example of the Selenginsky and Barguzinsky fish-breeding plants, the historical experience of the formation of the activities of fish-breeding enterprises is considered; the role of the mobilization decisions of the Soviet state in this process is noted. The current Soviet legislation on the organization of the activities of fish-breeding enterprises, the history of creation, the main indicators of the activity of the fish factory are analyzed. A special place is given to fish stations and fish factories, which carried out plans for the release of fish products during the Second World War. Attention is drawn to the technical equipment of fish factories.
