The formation and development of the system of obstetric-and-gynecologic care in Eastern Siberia in the second half of the 1920's

The article analyses the formation and development of obstetric-and-gynecologic care system in Eastern Siberia in the second half of the 1920s as a direction of the state policy in the sphere of motherhood and childhood social protection. The author analyzes the change in quantitative and qualitative characteristics of such elements of obstetric-and-gynecologic care system in the region as antenatal clinics, maternity homes, and maternity departments in hospitals.
