Formation of the Kalmyk Khanate as а subject of the Russian empire since the 17th century to the middle of the 18th century

The article is devoted to the initial stage of formation of the administration system in the Kalmyk khanate. The author focuses on the processes of inclusion the Kalmyk elite into social structure of Russia and creation of parallel governing bodies for the Volga Kalmyks by the Russian government.
