The system of private forensic theories is not only open, but also a complex organized system, the development of which is characterized by a combination of processes of integration and differentiation of scientific knowledge. It seems that knowledge of these processes is unthinkable without a deep analysis of the relationships between the subsystems of the general theory of criminology. At the same time, the system of private forensic theories is constantly adapting, adapting to the processing and use of not only information coming from related sciences and practical areas, but also intra-system information. Since changes in one subsystem can affect characteristics related to other subsystems, this predetermines the need for constant monitoring of intrasystem connections and dependencies of particular theories in order to create adaptive criteria and directions for their progressive development. But in general, this will make it possible to more fully realize the service function of criminology - its assistance in the practice of fighting crime. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the methodological potential of the concept of forensic support for activities to support state prosecution in the system of private forensic theories. Research results: the paradigm of “pre-trial” criminology was critically analyzed and ways of its transformation were identified taking into account the modern needs of the criminal prosecution system; prospects for the development of the concept of forensic support for maintaining public prosecution in connection with certain private forensic theories have been identified; the methodology and ways of mutual enrichment of these particular theories in the process of their systemic development are determined; ways to improve the legal, organizational and forensic aspects of the practice of exposing a criminal during pre-trial and judicial prosecution are proposed.
