The formation of psychology as a science

In the article, the authors provide a brief overview of the formation of psychology as a science. It is emphasized that psychology has related poly-scientific origins. The stages of the formation of psychology are briefly analyzed - from the science of the soul to modern research of the human psyche. It is concluded that in the XXI century there will be an intensification of the development of psychology, which allows people to better know both themselves and other people, building adequate interpersonal relationships.
