Formation of a genre of the historical novel in the Dagestan literature

In article devoted to problems of genesis of a genre of the historical novel in the Dagestan literature, the author notices that the given type of the novel has passed all stages in the Dagestan literature from «a black-and-white aesthetics» to multidimensional national characters, from research of class conflicts -to the analysis of moral problems. At the present stage its development is characterized by expansion of thematic and genre, style variety.
