Statistical analysis of the living standards of the population in Russia

The standard of living is a broad concept and a large number of indicators are used, allowing evaluating both at the international level and at the state level. The standard of living depends both on the economic policy of the state, and on social policy and the reach of social, medical and other services. The provision of favorable conditions for the creation of a decent standard of living, that is, a healthy, long and prosperous life, is one of the most important tasks of the social and economic policy of the state.
