At the moment, the topic of marriage is relevant at any time and age. The Article analyzes the number of marriages in the Russian Federation. The article reveals the basic concepts of marriage. The article also reveals the basic concepts of family and marriage. The article considers the dynamics of statistics on the number of marriages in Russia for 2007-2017, as well as the reasons for registration of marriages and the age composition of the bride and groom for 2000 and 2016. The forecast of indicators of statistics on the number of marriages 2018-2022 is carried out.
